As I transition out of a 6-month winter hell into a blooming spring wonderland, pure pop love songs are the most stimulating to my senses. Those infectious songs that you catch like the swine flu, that evoke good times and good feelings. Well ladies and gentlemen, meet Dent May, your new spring pop obsession.



This gem of a video, filmed in trailer in Mississippi, brings a dirty south silliness that can only be found south of the Mason-Dixon line. I caught this good man's show in good ol' Nashville, Tennessee, and despite his cracking voice, I enjoyed every minute. He plays Schuba's in Chicago on MAy 28th, so go show this down home boy some midwest love.
