Bad news. Charles Cooper of Chicago electronic duo Telefon Tel Aviv passed away on January 22. Surviving member Josh Eustis left a post on the matter here. I can't say that I knew Charles, but Josh is as good a person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting in Chicago and my heart goes out to him. As bad as this news is upon the Chicago music community, let's not forget how devestating this must be to Josh and all the friends and family that Charles is survived by.
