Skywave was a trio from Virginia with an impressive list of influences including the likes of The Jesus & Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, and Slowdive. Turns out that when they broke up (around 2003 maybe?) one of the guys went on to create A Place To Bury Strangers, and with that album getting so much positive attention recently I figured this would be an appropriate first post. Think a mix between Psychocandy and A Place To Bury Strangers, and thats a pretty good idea of what Synthstatic sounds like.
